IX Conference for the Presentation of Studies at the Cap de Creus Natural Park

On Thursday, February 22nd, the IX Conference for the Presentation of Studies at the Cap de Creus Natural Park took place, which for years has served as a meeting point between scientific knowledge and sustainable environmental management. This annual event has been a key forum for promoting dialogue between the local productive sector and the scientific sector, fostering collaboration and dissemination of the results of research contributing to the conservation of this protected natural environment. The conference was organized into six presentations of studies in the marine environment followed by six more focused on studies of the terrestrial environment.

Arnau Bosch Guiu, a technician from the LIFE project, participated in the event with a presentation within the framework of the LIFE medCLIFFS project: Models of invasive flora propagation. During the presentation, the methodology used to develop invasion risk maps and possible applications of the maps to improve the efficiency of actions for controlling and eradicating invasive flora in the park’s environment were discussed.
