PROJECT PARTNERS AND SUPPORTING ENTITIES

LIFE medCLIFFS is run by a consortium of six public and private non-profit partner organisations that implement the project as a joint initiative.

The project is also financed by the LIFE Programme of the European Union and counts also with the invaluable support of several organisations and individuals who volunteer in order to make the LIFE medCLIFFS objectives a reality.

General coordination of the project. Participation in all technical and monitoring actions of the project, as well as in all communication and management actions.

DEPARTAMENT D’ACCIÓ CLIMÀTICA, ALIMENTACIÓ I AGENDA RURAL – GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA (DACC)

Participation in technical actions about prevention and control of invasive plants in the Cap de Creus Natural Park, facilitation of contact with local agents, integration of the tools and protocols generated by the project into the regional system for the management of invasive plants, and participation in the communication and management of the project.

Participation in the technical actions about creation of pro-biodiversity market tools for prevention of the introduction of invasive species, facilitation of contact with local agents, and participation in the communication and management of the project. 

The FVC participates together with three of its affiliated organisations: the Girona Association of Nurseries, the Barcelona Association of Nursery Farmers and the Tarragona Association of Nurseries.
