INVASIVE FLORA

These are the species of exotic flora that will be treated as a priority in the LIFE medCLIFFS project because they affect or may affect the Mediterranean penya-segats of the Costa Brava.

They have been classified into three types:

  1. Invasive species catalogued in the Spanish regulations (RD 630/2013).
  2. Species not catalogued but that there is scientific evidence (expert opinion) about their invasive behavior in Catalonia.
  3. Species that we have observed in the Costa Brava naturalized and that present invasive potential. For these species, it is necessary to be alert on how they evolve.

Click on the pictures to access a summary sheet and a complete online sheet of each species.
