The first field trip for volunteers of 2025 (Roses)

Roses Carrer de Gauguin, Roses, Girona, Spain

The first field trip of 2025 is here! This time, we will walk and follow a more ethnobotanical route at Cala Murtra, Roses. During the course, we will observe the autochthonous flora of the Myrtle Thicket (habitat 32.218). This is another typical Mediterranean habitat, close to HIC 1240, where we will also keep an eye on the allochthonous and invasive plants that affect and threaten the local flora. There will also be time to explain and provide more information about the LIFE medCLIFFS project, and check how to make observations. This is also a good time to ask and solve...

We encourage you to come and see this uncommon plant in the project area. Maybe after Saturday, you will find it again in your transect and you missed it before. Besides the Fallopia baldschuanica we will keep an eye on the cracks and...
