The first field trip of 2025 is here! This time, we will walk and follow a more ethnobotanical route at Cala Murtra, Roses. During the course, we will observe the autochthonous flora of the Myrtle Thicket (habitat 32.218). This is another typical Mediterranean habitat, close to HIC 1240, where we will also keep an eye on the allochthonous and invasive plants that affect and threaten the local flora. On Saturday, April 5th we will return to L'Escala, but this time we will focus on a lower track closer to the sea. The main goal of this trip will be to see the only observation of Fallopia baldschuanica of the project. This will be a great occasion to observe the rarest plant monitored by the LIFE medCLIFFS.
